Committed to Excellence in Dance
The Beaumont Ballet Theatre is a non-profit dance company that is proud of earned membership to Dance Masters of America and Regional Dance America/ Southwest. The company provides an outstanding training ground for careers and emerging professionals while stimulating appreciation of the dance arts through quality productions of classical and contemporary works.
It was founded in 1982 by Artistic Director Miss Bonnie Cokinos. The BBT is recognized for its free school productions of Cinderella. The ballet has been performed since 1984 as a gift to the children of Southeast Texas. Company dancers have been the recipients of scholarships and hold numerous titles. Performances are supported through ticket sales, donations by Angels of the Arts such as the Southeast Texas Arts Council and by the volunteer efforts of the Beaumont Ballet Theatre Guild.
